KDE logs users out unexpectedly

The server runs RHEL 4.3 and is used as X server.
The users connect to it via cygwin.
It usually happends when the server is idle, but I was reported about few cases when the session terminated in the middle of some work.
Thanks.

Re: KDE logs users out unexpectedly

what is your network topology (e.g. do you have f/w between client & server; is it LAN or WAN)?

Re: KDE logs users out unexpectedly

network topology has probably nothing to do with it.I had the same problem when the server was in the same VLAN.
NIS server/client relation though sounds interesting.

Re: KDE logs users out unexpectedly

Sorry Alex

The issue I was talking about was only with RH 6.2 and that occurs when the users lock the screen then he will not be able to unlock.
