Oracle installation problem
I have a machine in which iam having RHEL 3.0 64 bit installed. when i try to install oracle, its giving an error about java. The error is attached below.

Did you follow install instructions?
Have you looked at http://www.puschitz.com ?
What OS update you are using? use kernel version 2.4.21-27.0.4.EL, and JDK to 1.4.2_08,After that try to install again, it would work.

You need to install the following rpms (RHEL CDs Disks 2 & 3):
+ tcl-8.3.5-92.4.x86_64.rpm
+ compat-db-4.0.15-5.1.x86_64.rpm
+ compat-gcc-7*
+ compat-gcc-c++-7*
+ compat-libstdc++-7*
+ compat-libstdc++-devel-7*
+ openmotif21-2.1.30-9.RHEL3.6.i386
And, before launching runInstaller, run
export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1

I upgraded the kernel to 2.4.21-27.0.4.EL and after that the oacle installaion is going smoothly.
