LINUX EMS HARDWARE MONITORING
This there any software for linux that does hardware monitoring like HP-UX EMS?

Every hardware vender provides a software to monitor and report hardware status. In case of HP, if you install the proliant support pack, you can configure event notifications with insight agents. You can also use CLI scripts to monitor and report the status of the components.
