linux error with ohci 1394
Can I instal Linux on HP compaq nx9010?
Can I use partition on a disk?
I have problem about it.Because when reboot de system, after first installation, the OS load crash ( stop the load) at the line about drive firewire ohc1394. I have this problem with Fedora1b suse, mandrake90 redhat9.
help me ..... help me tank you

This is a fairly common problem. Have you tried doing the install using the nofirewire boot paramater?

I append, at the boot command, nofirewire when grub booting the sistem. It's right? . No error occourse with firewire device but when searc new hardware, and the OS is blocked.
The PC (hp compaq nx9010), used a firewire same a controller, and not same a device??!
So I can't disable that?

This isn't a very happy way to solve the problem, but it appears to be what most users who encounter this problem do.
