Does anybody know if HP supports
Linux on the new Evo D310 PCs?
I wonder if the Intel i845G
graphics is already supported by XFree under (any kind of) Linux.

Solution
Hi Markus,
afaik the official kernels doesn't support the i845G.
But there are drivers for linux, e.g. have a look at
http://www.mmbi.com/download/Linux845G.htm
Or you can try to install a kernel-patch from
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/gregkh/misc/agpgart-2.5.27.patch with supports this chipset.
good luck
Dirk
