I've heard mixed reports on it. Make sure you test it on a non-production system.
As a certified HP-UX geek, I'd like to see LVM become the standard on Linux. It would simplify my life since my second job is runinig a Linux based NSP.
But if you search for back posts, you'll see varying opinions when I made a use and reliability query a few weeks ago.
