MIgrating data from MSA1000 to EVA3000

We have a MSA1000 connected to two HP Proliant DL585 G1 servers running RHEL AS4. We would like to migrate all the data from the MSA1000 to our EVA3000 SAN and then connect the two HP Proliant servers to the EVA3000.
Can anyone advise me if this can be done and how can it done?

¿How is the MSA1000 connected? ¿Direct attached or to a sanswitch? ¿How many HBA's your servers have?
You must connect to both storages, present a disk from the eva. ¿How much data do you need to transfer? ¿How many time can you have your services down?

Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

put the disks in the same volume group and use PVMOVE if you use LVM to partition and manage data on the disks.
If you do not use lvm there is a equivilent command with VXVM. It really depends on what disk management software you use

						Gentlemen,
How about 'rsync' utility? I have heard people use this to migrate data.
