Will mondo work in a sco environment the way it does for linux?

Though you could just compile the source and test it, I think the binaires can not be relied on to back up a SCO system. Different opensource platform, different layout on the disk.

I've not messed around with Mondo archive, but I recall that it uses CD-ROM media for the backup.

Everything except for the writing-to-the-cd should work without any hitches. Writing to the CD depends on what version of OSR you have, and what type of burner you are using.

OSR < 5.0.7 = won't work with an IDE burner. Period.

If I recall correctly, it also uses the 'cdrecord' packages. Make sure you have an up to date version.

You might be able to get Mondo to create ISO images of which you can trasnfer to another machine to burn off.
