MSA 1000 issue
Good afternoon.
I have a problem with the next solution:
I have three prloiant servers 380 with redhat linux 3 and msl 5026 and an mas1000 connected to this servers through a san swith integrated with the msa1000.
Recently i have a problem with the drive sdlt320 of the library, the problem was solve but in linux when a ran the command hp_rescan it appears 10 times the msa1000, i want to know what it's causing that in one linux server i seeing ten times my msa 1000.
i want to know if there is a command, like insf hp-ux, for linux instead.
Regards.

Re: MSA 1000 issue
Shalom,
insf is not needed in Linux.
My feeling here is the scsi configuration of new tape drive is not the same as the old.
Make the new match the old, reboot the systems and MSA-1000 should show up the one time.
