Can I upgrade our Modular Smart Array 500 G2 another 1 unit of hard disk 146GB for increase our backup space?
-Existing our Modular Smart Array 500 G2 hard disk 3unit each 146GB.
Can i used the acu to expand the existing array and the logical volume.
Our server Operating system is Redhat Enterprise 4

SolutionYes you can.
How you configured the volume group will effect how much disk space you can add without having to rebuild the volume group from scratch.
Since this is backup space that should not be a problem anyway.
