Re: NetRAID 2M ! Pbl woody 3.0 install

Hi,

I am not familiar which version of megaraid is in 3.0 Debian.
NetRAID-2M needs at least 1.08 of megaraid. Otherwise, system can not detect your 2M.
Latest firmware for 2M can be download from http://h20004.www2.hp.com/keeper_rnotes/bsdmatrix/matrix51930.html
According to this page, the rev is H.02.01.
This version of firmware fix the nasty "64bit mode filesystem corruption".
But one thing you may want to check about "stripe size" when you create the Logical Unit.
Default stripe size is 64kb.
But if you set less than 64kb stripe size, you will see I/O error. So my advice is, check LU's stripe size.
If it is less than 64k, what you need is recreate the LU, which mean clear the LU then recreate.

Good luck
