nfsnobody and M$$ SFU 3.5

hi,

I perform a NFS share from windows, mount it on linux (redhat 4.0) and the top level and all other files are owned by nfsnobody

I can understand the top level dir, but why does it own the rest of the files as nfsnobody?

please help,
Donny

Re: nfsnobody and M$$ SFU 3.5

probably because the M$$ NFS server doesn't give nice UID/GID values back.

What are you using for your 'mount' command on the Linux side? Do you know what version of NFS is supported by SFU3.5? What version does 'rpcinfo -p ' report for the various services?
One long-haired git at your service...
