NIS users are not able to access the server using telnet.

Local users are able to access the server using ssh & telnet.

NIS users are able to access the server using ssh, not telnet.



How to enable so that NIS users will be able to access the server using telnet.



Os: RHEL AS 4

Praveen,

Have you checked that the "portmap" service is running .....

Do, check the logs /var/log/messages

And also if you can send me the config file for telnet.

What exactly your setup is or what exactly you want to setup ???
