No Netdump
We have not setup the netdump yet. meanwhile, looking at other options for looking into potential issues we may have. some thoughts i had was
1. dmidecode (look for errors..some memory errors may show here
2. dmesg
3. messages
any other ideas?
Thanks
brian

Re: No Netdump
If you're using Red Hat you might want to install the diskdump utils to be able to analyse a crash.
For more information I refer to the Red Hat site, for example: http://kbase.redhat.com/faq/FAQ_43_4220.shtm
If you want to get more information about hardware failures and you're using a HP ProLiant server with Red Hat or SuSE I suggest you install the Proliant Support Pack. Make sure you install the following parts: hpsmh & hpasm (our default is: hpsmh, hpasm, hprsm, hponcfg, cpqacuxe).
