Password Synchronization with SFU 3.0
Hi,
I am trying to configure Password Sync. between Windows 2000 and a Linux 7.2 NIS master. I am running ssod on linux and have the PAM module for sso. But password Sync. is not happening in either way. When I change password on windows I get the following error in the event viewer,
-----------------------------------------
Event ID : 8224
Unable to update password for user.
user = nis1
check if user Account is locked,expired or disabled.
-----------------------------------------
And in /var/log/messages of the linux box I get,
-----------------------------------------
Nov 1 00:42:57 linux ssod:[1558]: Failed to update password
Error: ERROR User: user1
-----------------------------------------
What could be the problem?? Pl. help ...
Thanks,
Karthik S S
