peer died: Invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide character
Hi,
We have Redhat Enterprise Linux 4.0 on GFS running Oracle Database.
Under /var/log/messages file; we are seeing repeated following messages.
Apr 1 00:06:49 server1telnetd[22928]: ttloop: peer died: Invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide character
Apr 1 00:06:55 server1telnetd[23081]: ttloop: peer died: Invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide character
Apr 1 00:07:01 server1telnetd[23235]: ttloop: peer died: Invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide character
Apr 1 00:07:07 server1telnetd[24249]: ttloop: peer died: Invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide character

Someone with telnet client (not configured kerberos properly) is trying to login. Figure out who and ask them to login with right permissions or check if they are authorized to use the system.
