Perl /LWP/ WWW::Mechanize question

Hi!
I am trying to automate a procedure for starting a mapbox. For this purpose I have to write a perl programm, that clicks on the start button, then fills the password and username in the pop-window and confirms with click on OK-Button. But I have problems with making the script fill in the user/password-box. Do you know how this works with lwp or www::mechanize? Thank you.
