Permission Denied on NFS share
Created a share on a DL100 - attempting to access it with NFS via Redhat EL 3.0 and getting permission denied. I can see and use the share from a Windows box...any thoughts about what I have done wrong?

Re: Permission Denied on NFS share
Russ -- if you post the question here:
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/familyhome.do?familyId=118
you may be more likely to get an answer.
Can you post the export and mount options you're using?
Thanks,
Mic

Re: Permission Denied on NFS share
Russ,
-Assume you have enabled the NFS protocol on the share
-Ensure you have Everyone: Full Control Windows permission set on the NFS share (you probably have to add the Everyome user)
-On the NFS share Properties, ensure you have appropriate access (Read-Write)
-On the NFS share Properties, check Allow Anonymous Access (if that is what you want); if not you will need to use NFS User Mapping
-In the DL100 Administration Guide (p. 133) or in the online webUI Help for the Storage Server, follow the instructions to change local security policy to allow anonymous access to an NFS share (see Anonymous Access to an NFS Share)
Note: you must restart the nfssvc after changing the security policy
