Poor network performance using the builtin ethernet adapter in nx6325

I have 32-bit Fedora Core 6 installed on an nx6325 laptop. It works OK until I load the NIC with about 250 Mbit/s (sent from elsewhere), at which point packets seem to be lost or corrupted. Is it the same on Windows too, or is it a Linux issue?

try

# service iptables stop

then retry. I have noticed slow down speeds using certain p2p apps. IF that resolves the issue you may create a rule of just disable iptables. If you continue to use iptables then you might look into installing firestarter. You can install it via yum. It's a nice graphical app for managing the firewall.
