Power Manger vs UPS R5500 XR

Hi,

I have UPS R5500 XR and I want to implement the HP Power Manager 1.1. OS running on Managment Server SLES8 --> no support.
I will not use the "Rack and Power Manager" supporting United1.

HP Support Center told it should work with the Redhat-version of Power Manager. Should!

Anybody tried it in the past?
