print log in lprng

Hi
I have installed a cannon printer for my linux system.I am familar with the HP-UX log system which is usually at /var/spool/lp/request

In Linux I dont find a request file but rather a Cannon file called cannon.acct.

Can somebody please point out how to discover the print log under Linux?

Thanks in Advance

Re: print log in lprng

great!i understand there is also a CUPS system in place. While I appreciate your response from the view of LPRng I am wondering if it is the same location used by CUPS based printing.
Thanks
