Printer driver for deskjet 660c for Linux

Is there plans to make a print driver avalible for the deskjet 660c in the near
future, or will the driver that came with Red Hat 6.1 work? Specifically this
one (550c/560c/6xxc). Please let me know, also will a regular unix driver
work?

The current ghostscript driver will work with the DJ660C. If you meant
"plain-text" by "standard UNIX driver", then the answer is yes.

The 550c driver you reference should concievably run any non-host based deskjet. You won't get the higher resolutions and all the other goodies you find under winblows, but it should work.
