Probing for new lun and its size on RHEL3 U4
Hi,
Does anyone know of a way to identify the size of a new lun on the operating system RHEL3 U4 AS presented from and EVA3000?
I realize that I know the size presented from the EVA if I'm the one creating it. In this case we are trying to automate the identification if newly added luns and the size.
Thank you.

Re: Probing for new lun and its size on RHEL3 U4
Hi Richard,
to probe for new luns I guess that this script will help you
http://www.garloff.de/kurt/linux/rescan-scsi-bus.sh
After running this script you may use fdisk to identify the size and create partitions.
Hope it helps
