Probs Install RHEL4U4 on ProLiant DL320G4
my installation of RHEL4U4 doesn't work on our new ProLiant DL320G4. I downloaded for the HP-internal-RAID-Conroller (Intel 82801G) a linux-driverdisk (adpahci). But this driverdisk doesn't support RHEL4 with update 4. So starting the installation without the driverdisk doesn't recognize the hardware-raid, and the anaconda-installar would partition the diskdrives as JBOD and ignores my hardware-raid - but that isn't what I want.
I googled but did not found a newer adpahci driver.
I won't install the server without hardware-raid-support!
Any one any idea on this problem?

Re: Probs Install RHEL4U4 on ProLiant DL320G4
the Controller called HP embedded but shows as Intel 82801G.
The kernel of RHEL4U4 is kernel-2.6.9-39.EL
There are some hints in the releasenotes of redhat, but not directly on my problem. I CAN view my harddrives, but i CAN'T view them as one hardware-raid.

adpahci-1.2.5552.rhel4.i686.img
Do you get an option to enter the sata controller bios and configure array?
Not too clear when you say CAN'T view them as one hardware-raid.
If you setup raid 1,only one drive is persented to the OS.

Re: Probs Install RHEL4U4 on ProLiant DL320G4
...but the new kernelversion doesn't accept the driverdisc.
Thanks for your suggestion, but the 1.2.5552 supports only rhel4 update 2...
It ist correct, that after building the RAID1 the linux-installer should only see 1 harddisk. But it shows me both "single"-harddiskdrives!
