I can't install the Red Hat AS 2.1 on the Proliant ML 350 G3, it give the following message "An error has ocurred - no valid device were found on wich to create new filesystem. Please check your hardware for the cause of this problem."
i think the HP smart array 641 controller needs a driver, then i got the disk driver cpq_cciss-2.4.48-3.rh21.i386.dd from the web page h18004.www1.hp.com/support/files/storage/us/download/19863.html but the proliant give me the same error
Thanks in advanced

Solution
The DUD you are using only supports QU2 RHAS 2.1 media. Please use the previous version of the DUD located at the following url if you are using the original RHAS2.1 media:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/17784.html
After you are finished installing, you can upgrade the kernel to the latest supported errata (e.27 currently) and use the cciss driver rpm to install 2.4.48. The rpm is located at the following:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/18859.html
NOTE: Before you install the cciss driver rpm, make sure you edit modules.conf and remove the second cciss entry.
