Proxy setup for SuSE 9

Trying to upgrade to SuSE 9 from RedHat 7.1. The proxy setup for RedHat 7.1 below worked well. I used YaST to select the AddModule and LoadModule for proxys, then added the proxy setup script below in the httpd.conf of SuSE. System doesn't complain at httpd start up, but browsers on the LAN "Access Forbidden" error when trying to connect to anything on or through the server ????Anyone got a clue !ProxyRequests On# Order deny,allow Deny from all Allow from 90.0.0.2 Allow from 90.0.0.5

I'm just about ready to re-install RH 7.1 and forget this SuSE 9. Accute frustration has set in I'm afraid.I can't even post a readable message with this Konqueror browser. Strips all the newlines and runs everything together :o(

Well, I ran out of time; reinstalled RH 7.1 to get the production box back on line. I'm still working on upgrading to SuSE 9, this time on a development box.

I can't seem to get past the Proxy setup.

I have LAN --> RH 7.1 Apache(Proxy) --> Internet. Also doing MASQ with IPChains that I need for access to Arkansas' Real Estate records.

When I try to do the same thing with LAN --> SuSE 9, Apache2(Proxy)--> Internet no browser on the LAN can get through the proxy.

I put the proxy scripts in one of the httpd.conf includes (vhosts) but not inside a vhosts container of course. httpd.conf was just a container for include statements; there don't seem to be an include specifically for proxy setup.

Any thoughts welcome !!

This is the proxy script that works for RedHat. It was clobbered above; all ran together.
