PV Links Support in LVM2 RHEL4
Dear All,
i need to setup Serviceguard Linux on two x86 servers with EVA4000. Now problem, securepath for linux is not procured.
i want know whether we can use PV links (like in HP-UX) instead. i understand this would not provide load balancing. but can anyone tell whether this will be supported??
Or is it mandatory to purchase SecurePath for linux.
Thanks in advance,
regds,
nishith.

Re: PV Links Support in LVM2 RHEL4
Normally, you will use the driver of the HBA for multipath/failover capabilities. So far, mdadm provides multipath options but normally is not used in this way.
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?
