QLogic HPAE312A and EVA8400 for RHCS
Hello:
Is there anyone who has expericne using ProLiant DL380/G6 using QLogic HPAE312A HBA and EVA8400 for RHCS to build two-node or four-node cluster?
I met one prpblem that when using multipath
(MPIO) to access quorum disk, it got problem that it always had one cluster member that can gain access to quorum disk, and the other CAN'T gain access??
Any reference documentation or experience sharing is very appreciated!!
Thanks a lot in advance.
Best Regards
Danny

Hi Danny,
can you explain a little bit more on your setup?
What do you mean "the other CAN'T gain access??"
You have to present the quorum disk to both nodes from the EVA and then make that disk a quorum disk (mkqdisk).
What OS are you running?

Hello:
Thanks a lot to your reply, and the quorum disk has been presented to these two nodes, and you can use "mkqdisk -L" to list the quorum disk on bothe node.
Best Regards
Danny

Hi Danny,
the qdisk appears to belong on the node that first get to it.
You should see only one node on the "host:" line.
