We are running Red Hat 5.3 x86_64bit on our servers and want to install GFS on the servers.
Do you know the packages that need to be installed on the servers for GFS ??
And, once installed, how do we migrate/change the current LVM ext3 file systems to GFS ??
Thanks

						Shalom,
Roughly speaking:
yum list | grep -i gfs
This will list you the packages you need.
yum -y install
It is okay to install everything from the list you get, most of them are dependent on one and other.
There is not really a migration path from ext3 to LVM. Nothing I'd trust anyway.
You need to use GFS tools to create a new filesystem.
So you need to back up your data, create new filesystems and then restore the data.
