						Firstly can you install RH9 on a DL380 G3??
Reason for asking...i am trying the server boots picks up the cd asks a few questions on coutry, keyboard.. then asks were do i iwant to install from. 						can you try network installation?

						Your installation has been done. Assuming the media you have is good, you may have an issue with the cd-rom drive. You might want to get the server utility cd out and test it.
An NFS or ftp based install might prove the server out.
On a regular computer with dos you can create a network boot disk for the install.

						Oliver,
You need a special boot disk, because the installation kernel has a bug preventing it from accessing the CD player.
