Red hat scripts - monitoring etc

Hi all

Wondering if anyone knows of an area or have themselves any scripts for monitoring wth regard to spinning processes , disk usage , daemons not running etc etc

Anything would be great.

I'm currently adapting our current HP stuff

Thanks in advance

Steve

Re: Red hat scripts - monitoring etc

Hi

Monitor disk usage.... use snmpd and snmptrap ?

Monitor daemons not running....
try http://cr.yp.to/daemontools.html

Monitor cpu, memory, swap usage record.... use sar (sysstat is the RPM pkg name)

Use MRTG to draw graph of the usage record.

Good luck
