Re: Redhat 4.5 Integrity RX6600 Hitachi storage support of emulex HBA?
Yes there is support.
You will need to manually modify the /etc/modprobe.conf file and rebuild the initrd ramdisk file.
after moving it.
mkinitrd -f initrd-$(uname -r).img $(uname -r)
You need to make sure the chosen card is compatible with the Integrity series server, this hardware supports less variety than say a PC.
I don't know a lot about Hitachi storage, but the sytem will probably be able to work with the storage.

Re: Redhat 4.5 Integrity RX6600 Hitachi storage support of emulex HBA?
Hitachi HDS only supports Emulex cards as they told me.
The adviced HP emulex cards could be with a not just or wrong firmware level.
We could not find the appropriate Info to make both party's glad , HP integrity Server Support HBA - Hitachi HDS HBA
