Redhat 8 Installation problem on Dell DL-600
hi,
trying to install redhat 8 on Dell DL-600, installation is sucessful but after the installation when i try to boot the laptop in linux the machine hangs at
Ide1: BM-DMA at 0......., BIOS settings: hdc:DMA, HDD:pio

hi,
try to change the ide like ide 0 or ide secondary slave, and check the hdd, thru dell utility cd. next the update the system bios( it may also solve he problme)
