Redhat EL3 mounts only 1tb?

I have read that redhat EL3 can only mount 1tb partitions. I have a SAN with about 8TBs. I would like to split it into 4 partitions and mount them. Is there anyway I can do this?

I should probably ask this on redhat's forums but this one seems to get better responces.

Thanks

Shalom CadeO,

It would make more sense if the limit was 2 TB.

Anyway, I think if you install and use the hugemem kernel, you may do better.

If not, perhaps RH 4.

I can't go to RH4 because we do some tweeking to SCSI drivers to emulate some scsi devices. I was hopping for a work around on EL3.
