Re: Redhat Enterprise AS3 on DL380 G4 problem
1. Point your browser to https://rhn.redhat.com/ then log in with your username and password.
2. Select the "Channels" tab at the top.
3. Select the channel you require from the channel list table.
4. Click the "Downloads" link.
5. Download the ISO images and verify the md5sum. Use the md5sum command in the following way:
md5sum filename
6. Burn the ISO images to CDs.

Re: Redhat Enterprise AS3 on DL380 G4 problem
don't forget to prepare your raid device before installing Red Hat. HP has a process called SmartStart to assist you on preparing your server to install OS.

Re: Redhat Enterprise AS3 on DL380 G4 problem
To make the OS detect the Harddrive
1.Need to create the array either thro the BIOS or smart start cd
2.Download the driver from the HP site(make sure to use the update version mentioned in the HP site since it would have been tested with that) after downloading need to create a driver disk(the details are in the same place where you download them.
3.Download the iso image from redhat site and burn it to a cd.
4.Boot with the option to supply the driver disk during install once that reads the drive disk sucessfully, the array will get sensed and you can create the filesystems and install the OS.

Re: Redhat Enterprise AS3 on DL380 G4 problem
Also, I have tried to look for the update 3 at https://rhn.redhat.com/ site. I can't find any channel for Redhat AS3 version 3 as well. The packages for Redhat AS also empty. What should I download?
It is quite urgent for me to install redhat on HP DL380 G4 server to run my application.
Please help.
