Redhat server reboot.

Hi, #last command shows that "reboot system boot" twice this morning on one of our redhat systems. I don't see any indication in the logs or cron that somebody initiated a reboot.

Can somebody advice ?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Redhat server reboot.

Systems reboot can be caused by other reasons, like evinronmental (cpu/memory overheat) or for example, triggered by Oracle in case of a cluster, because a problem was detected.

You see the reboot twice on the log, but was the reboots noted by the users? What services are provided by this server?

Thanks for your reply.

This machine is a virtual machine in the cloud.

It is created for us around 15 days before.
