						Hello,
At the customer site, the following messages were appeared when he execute dump command.
"ACLs in inode #xxxxx won't be dumped"
[ENVIRONMENT]
RHEL AS 4 up3 64bit
[SITUATION]
In fact, this system became hang-up, and he push power button.
So the file system might be corruption.
After that he execute fsck command successfully.
[QUESTION]
- What does the message mean ?
- Does the backup execute successfully ?
According to the message, the inode seems fail backup.
Thank you for advice.
Best Regards.

Maybe this points to a disk corruption ... after the reboot did the fsck place any files in the lost+found directory of that filesystem ?
did the fsck ran automaticaly or did the admin fix it (like by answering yes etc)
What does a stat on the suspected file return (Beware... this could hang the system if the corruption is still present)
This could also have been fix at boot/fsck and never be seen again!
need more info realy
