Relase/Version Help

Hi folks,

We're getting ready to upgrade from AS 2.1 to either RedHat ES-3.0 or RedHat AS-3.0?? The servers that we intend to install the newer version are all G2 HP DL-380's.

My question is if someone has a short explanation of what the differences are between ES-3.0 and AS-3.0 so we know which version to go with??

For DL380 servers you can use RHEL ES edition.
BTW, if your application[s] compatible with 2.6 kernel, I suggest you to upgrade to RHEL 4.
