replace the boot system

hi all

I have a system with internal boot disk and external data disk arrays , suddenly its not booting , the user has to access it frequently , so i decided to replace the external disk arrays to the identical system
what steps i have to take to do it.

Did you connect the external array to another system?

If so, you need to mount the disk in the new system.

Don't forget to transfer the users from prevous system to new system such as login, password, user directory, etc...

If the old system had LVM, you must import the volume groups.
