RH 8.0 - hpasm v7.0.0-21 - "modinfo: bonding: no module by that name found"
"modinfo: bonding: no module by that name found" during every poll.
Are these drivers stable? I've usually had good luck with them, but this is causing problems. I thought it was a recommended upgrade, especially since I wanted the additional logging facilities, but I need an answer here. Thanks.

I looks as if you haven't installed the NIC Teaming/Bonding driver and that cma is trying to do a modinfo on that module, you can probably make cma stop looking for that driver via some configuration option.
The hpasm driver is very stable in my experience, been using it for a few months at several customers without any problems.
Happy New Year

Re: RH 8.0 - hpasm v7.0.0-21 - "modinfo: bonding: no module by that name found"
After installing these agents on 11 servers, we had two servers perform 'ASR' within two days. The log file says, 'BIOS initiated ASR' .. Yeah, thats real informative..
I was running the 6.40 agents for months without any issues.. Needless to say, looks like I'm going to have to rollback to 6.40.
That bonding agent is only for teaming up NIC's, otherwise you shouldn't load it..

I could have figured that out on my own..
All our servers are on 6.40 under AS 2.1 .
