RHEL 5.1 and Insight Manager

Hello All,
does anyone has examples of working configurations for insight manager 8 for linux.
I cannot get my insight manager to talk to the servers correctly; and I cannot connect to the :2381 page on the server.

What happens when you try and connect? Do you get the login screen, and then timeouts when you log in? Or an error message at the browser?

When you installed PSP8, did you run "hpasm activate" - because if you didn't, the HPSMH integration wont enabled (permissions, entries in /etc/sudoers, mods to snmpd.conf to name but a few).

If that is not working, then HPSIM won't be able to talk to the server properly (nor the server to HPSIM).

Try to disable firewall....

# service iptables stop

I there I usually run the install silently with an answer file.

The problem is that some of the machine I can connect and some I cant.

I build all our machines with kickstart and I have iptables off [firewall] all off.

And when I try to go to the page I get

There is no System Management Home Page for server.name.
