RPM
Hi,
I'm using Linux Advanced Server release 2.1AS. now i find that some upgrades are available, how do i know what is that upgrade rpm for, what is the difference between the current RPM which i'm using against the latest, where can i find the only update rpms with notes

Generally you go to the project site and find out what the newer release includes.
For example for samba's rpm you go to www.samba.org, choose the closest to you site and locate this information there....

Sounds like up2date utility is the best way to go.
It lets you choose what to update and calculates dependencies.
