Status Messages
The current array conroller has a failed logical drive.
Logical drive 1 (RAID 6 (ADG in array A) has failed and cannot be used. All data on this logical drive has been lost. Configuration changes to this logical drive are not allowed until this problem is corrected. Also =, if your controller supports Expansions, Extension, or Migration, these opertaions will not be available for any logical drives in the array until the problem is corrected.
Replace any failed physical drives and re-enable the failed logical drive. For more information, run the Array Diagnostics utility.
i create RAID 6 ADG on one volume on 146 Gb x 14.
it works well for about 14 days before...
but now it came with errors...

Re: sda : SCSI error : <0 0 0 1> return code = 0x8000002 on MSA 1500
on active & standby controller still green light status...
but on active one.. it has messages "Replacement Drive found Box #1 Bay 12"
any issue bout it???
coz when its run well before the messages are intermittently show up to..
and also..coz i didnt change anything on the configuration...
btw, does creating one volume on SAN storage for Four server, are related with this kind of error messages???

Re: sda : SCSI error : <0 0 0 1> return code = 0x8000002 on MSA 1500
That might well be the problem... When you say one volume, I take it you mean one unit (LUN) that is shared between all four servers...
If so, unless you have some form of clustering software running on top of RedHat, then you will get a corrupt file system...
Although, having said that the initial errors do seem to point to a hardware problem.
If you can, try hooking the serial cable up to the MSA controller, and posting the output of the command "show tech_support"
Cheers,
Rob
