Re: Secure Path v3.0c

I had heard that Secure Path did support AS 3 Red Hat. I don't know whether this version of Secure Path does because I can't find the certification matrix.

Re: Secure Path v3.0c

http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/sanworks/softwaredrivers/securepath/splinux-sp2.html appears to list the compatible kernel/distribution revisions:

# RHEL 3.0 U3-smp ia32/ia64
# RHEL 3.0 U3-hugemem ia32
# RHEL 3.0 U4-smp ia32/ia64
# RHEL 3.0 U4-hughmem ia32

So.. 32bit intel, or itanium friendly.

Stuart is correct.

SecurePath does NOT support x86_64 (EM64T or AMD64)

Re: Secure Path v3.0c

I openned a case in hp for this.

HP engineers told me once that is preferred to use the new driver which has built in failover support, and secure path for linux sould not be used.

But if you still want to use secure path, you should open a ticket, and you will receive a set of patch to apply on RH3.
