Hello experts,

Now, is it supported on A later kernel version or i have to have 2.4.21-9.ELSMP kernel to run secure path.
Any help is higly appreciated.

Re: secure path ver.3.0 for linux
[I haven't wroked with Secure Path yet], but the answer is simple:
- if HP provides binary-only module for Secure Path, it won't work on other kernels
- if you can download source rpm [or tar] - you'll be able to install this SP on different RHEL3.0 kernels

Re: secure path ver.3.0 for linux
I'm dealing with the same problem and from what I've been told "update 3" is the latest version you can run at this time. I believe that the kernel is xxx.20 not xxx.9 though.
If we get it working I'll post.
Cheers,
Jim

Re: secure path ver.3.0 for linux
We've decided to stay away from Secure Path and use the QLogic software designed for our FC cards. We've been told by our supplier that SP is going EOL. While current versions will be supporters there is no known release cycle. Our servers are running Oracle apps and if Oracle tells us we need a new kernel revision to solve a problem I don't want to have to hope that HP releases a new version.
