Sendmail SMTP connection
Dear All,
Good day!
we find a problem in sending mail through linux based Smtp mail server(Sendmail 8.13.8-2) that the server which is receiving that mails make 15 connection at one time so is there any configuration option to control send mail that they make only less than 15 connections so there would no rejections?
Thanks in advance
MKS

Re: Sendmail SMTP connection
Shalom,
Take a look at your sendmail.mc file. There is some documentation in there on this topic.
Sendmail has some limits build in already. No connections will be accepted if the system load is 25 for example.
http://www.sendmail.org does have specific sendmail.mc hacks that can accomplish this goal.
