Server hangs on "rmmod ipmi_si"

I have recently installed a C7000 blade chassis and 9 BL460c servers running RHEL 4.6. 2 of them have exhibited the same problem on a few occasions, whereby one of the cpu cores goes up to 100% utilisation causing SIM alerts, and the process causing the problem is "rmmod rpmi_si".

The process is not interruptible and the server has to be rebooted to return it back to normal.

I am assuming one of the HP services is doing the rmmod. Can anyone confirm this - and is there any advise on how this can be resolved?
