Smart 6402 Installation with RHAS3 on Integrity rx4640
Hi.
We have an rx4640 server running RHAS3.0. To better the performance on I/O we are trying to add a smart 6402 controller connected to an MSA30 storage box.
We have shutdown the system, added the controller, press F8, configured the disks for Raid 0. Upon reboot, the kerner recognised the presence of new hardware and the same was automatically configured.
Post this we are not quite sure of what is the device name to be used to access the raid array. We tried couple of devices in the /dev/cciss directory but were not successful.
Are we missing out anything - ? Is there a document that we can refer that describes the steps to be followed for smart 6402 installation with linux on Intregity.
Thanks for your support in advance.

These links have some commonality and may include links to a solution.

The last three manuals seem more promising.
