Smart2/E and Kernel 2.4.20?

Has anyone running this configuration?
I wanted to update the Kernel on my Proliant5000 from 2.4.18 to 2.4.20. I've compiled cpqarray into Kernel and start with Kernel-append smart2=0x3000.
With 2.4.18 all works fine, with 2.4.20 he does'nt find the Array-Controller.

Google says, that some other have the same problem but nobody a real solution.
