SNMP Configurations
Hi All,
Could you please let me know how to configure the RHEL4update8 to send SNMP traps, also where I would find the MIB files and their descriptions?

Re: SNMP Configurations
Shalom,
Install the snmp software that ships with the CD's.
Edit the snmp.conf file in /etc to be compatible with your existing snmp infrastructure.
Start the daemon for snmp provided in /etc/init.d/
Use snmpwalk to test the configuration.

Re: SNMP Configurations
thanks, but please send me a sample how to edit the config file?
also is it possile to configure one server to receive traps from all servers and forward them to the SNMP Manager?
if yes, please let me know how this will be done.
